Contact DUPHIX
For general support, Privacy questions, Terms questions, or other questions about DUPHIX, contact:
This is the current public contact channel and may later be replaced by a dedicated DUPHIX or VDAST address. It is not an emergency monitoring channel, and no response time is promised.
Before you contact support
To help us understand an issue, include only useful, non-sensitive information such as:
- your device model;
- your operating-system version;
- your DUPHIX app version, where available;
- a brief description of what happened; and
- whether the issue concerns setup, notifications, Warning, SOS, or advertising.
Do not send passwords, payment-card information, authentication secrets, unnecessary personal contact lists, or sensitive medical information. Do not send private credentials or other information that is not needed to describe the issue.
How DUPHIX works
You configure safety schedules and activity windows. DUPHIX performs scheduled checks and compares permitted activity information with the previous reading. An activity change means the check proceeds normally. When no change is detected, the Warning sequence begins.
You can confirm that you are SAFE during the Warning sequence. If the sequence finishes without a response, DUPHIX can create an SOS alert for the selected contacts.
Safety checks
Checks occur according to the schedule you configure. Device and operating-system restrictions, permissions, background operation, battery state, and connectivity can affect timing. DUPHIX cannot guarantee exact timing on every device.
Warning and SAFE confirmation
Warning occurs before escalation and uses three warning rounds. Opening the app or responding to the Warning can confirm that you are SAFE, which stops the escalation flow.
The SAFE state transition takes priority before advertising can interfere with the interface. Advertising is not part of the safety decision.
SOS alerts
DUPHIX has no manual SOS button. An SOS is created only after the abnormal scheduled-check flow, the Warning sequence, and no user response. Alerts use current push-based routing to selected contacts.
Delivery, viewing, response, rescue, and emergency-service action are not guaranteed. DUPHIX does not provide public emergency dispatch.
Selected contacts
You choose the contacts or recipients who should receive SOS alerts and should keep that configuration current. Selected recipients are independent people, not DUPHIX staff. DUPHIX cannot guarantee that a recipient will see or act on an alert.
Notifications and permissions
DUPHIX may need notification permission to show Warnings and safety alerts, and activity-related permission where the platform requires it for the scheduled activity comparison. Internet access and platform push services are needed for features that communicate with DUPHIX systems.
Permission names and behavior can differ by platform. The current Android implementation does not request camera, microphone, continuous precise GPS, SMS, or phone-call permissions. The in-app Contacts feature uses App IDs entered by the user rather than the device phonebook.
Advertising
DUPHIX may display advertising on ordinary application surfaces to help support the service. Ad formats, availability, and consent or privacy controls from advertising providers or platform mechanisms may evolve. Safety confirmation and incoming SOS behavior take priority over ads.
Android and iOS availability
DUPHIX is planned for Android and iOS. Android is the currently implemented platform; iOS is planned and is not yet released. DUPHIX is targeting December 2026 as a planned release period, not a guaranteed date. No Play Store or App Store download link is currently provided here.
Common troubleshooting
Notifications are not appearing
- Check notification permission for DUPHIX.
- Check the operating system’s notification settings.
- Review battery and background restrictions that may affect notification delivery.
Safety checks do not appear to run as expected
- Verify the configured schedule and activity window.
- Verify the relevant activity permission.
- Review device and background restrictions.
- Check network connectivity when backend communication is required.
An SOS contact does not receive an alert
- Verify the selected-recipient configuration.
- Verify the recipient device and app registration where applicable.
- Check connectivity and notification settings on the recipient device.
- Remember that push delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Advertising problems
- Reopen the app where reasonable.
- Remember that consent and provider availability can vary.
- Advertising must not control SAFE or incoming SOS state transitions.
Do not disable operating-system security protections as a troubleshooting step.

Important emergency limitation
DUPHIX is not a public emergency service, emergency dispatch center, medical device, or guaranteed rescue service.
When you are able to contact local emergency services directly, do so rather than relying on DUPHIX as a substitute.
